EMED Group is seeking compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants for our Shepton Mallet team. You will drive patients to appointments and between facilities, with full training provided. A UK manual driving licence is essential and you should be physically fit for manual handling.

Join a values-driven healthcare logistics provider with a strong NHS partnership. The role offers full-time hours (38 per week) across 4 days, with shifts across early to late hours.

Formación

• Hold a valid UK manual driving licence (6 points maximum)
• Experience in a care background is advantageous but not required
• Be committed to patient care and able to communicate empathetically

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between facilities
• Assist with lifting, securing and helping patients in and out of the ambulance
• Keep the ambulance clean, safe and well-maintained
• Hand over patients to staff on arrival at treatment centres or homes
• Support end-of-life patient transport with empathy and respect
• Work in shifts between 05:00 and 00:00, Monday to Sunday
