Job summary

EMED Group is recruiting compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants in Salisbury on a bank (zero-hour) basis. You will drive patients to appointments and support transfers, helping patients in and out of ambulances, with full training provided.

You must hold a UK manual driving licence, be physically fit for manual handling and able to pass an Enhanced DBS check (funded by us). Flexible shifts between 05:30 and 00:00, Monday to Sunday, with notice.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Physically fit for manual handling.
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS check (funded by employer).
• Flexible shifts Mon-Sun between 05:30 and 00:00.

Responsibilities

• Drive patients to and from medical appointments and between facilities.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and moving patients in/out of the Ambulance.
• Build rapport with patients and relatives to ease care.
• Ensure ambulance remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Hand over patients to staff or family at destination.
