Job summary

EMED Group is seeking compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants in Salisbury. You will drive patients to appointments and healthcare facilities, support carers and staff, and ensure safe patient transfers. Full training is provided, and a UK manual driving licence (6 points max) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in transporting patients to and from medical appointments and facilities.
• Build rapport and communicate effectively with patients and relatives.
• Assist with lifting, securing and helping patients in and out of the ambulance.
• Hand over patients to appropriate staff on arrival at centres or homes.
• Transfer patients between beds and chairs, ensuring safety.
• Maintain ambulance safety, cleanliness and readiness.
