Job summary

Full UK driving licence required, DBS check funded by EMED Group, and flexible shifts across early mornings to late evenings. No prior ambulance experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Excellent communication and empathy when interacting with patients and families.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
• Physically fit for patient handling and manual tasks.
• DBS check will be required and funded by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between facilities.
• Build rapport with patients and relatives to ensure comfort and trust.
• Assist with patient movement, lifting, and securing in/out of ambulances.
• Hand over patients to medical staff on arrival at facilities or homes.
• Keep the ambulance clean, safe and well maintained during shifts.
• Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality and patient care standards.
