EMED Group is seeking compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants to join our Wheatley, Oxford team. The role supports patients on journeys to and from medical facilities, requires a UK manual driving licence and physical fitness for patient handling. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with hours from 05:00 to 01:00.

No ambulance experience is required as full training is provided; you will work with colleagues or independently, delivering high-quality patient care and support throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence
• Ability to communicate empathetically with patients and relatives
• Commitment to patient care and safe handling of patients

Responsabilités

• Drive patients to and from medical appointments and between facilities.
• Assist with lifting, transfers and moving patients between beds, stretchers and chairs.
• Keep the ambulance safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Hand over patients to appropriate staff on arrival at treatment centres or hospitals.
