EMED Group is seeking a compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to support patients in Slough on journeys to and from medical facilities. Permanent, full-time role with shifts 05:00–01:00, including evenings and weekends. A valid UK manual driving licence and good physical fitness are essential.

No ambulance experience is required as full training is provided. You will transport patients, assist with transfers, ensure safety and cleanliness of the ambulance, and communicate clearly with patients

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence (6 points max)
• Enhanced DBS check (company funded)
• Flexible shifts between 05:00 and 01:00, Monday to Sunday
• Committed to patient care
• Effective communicator and empathetic
• Physically fit for patient handling
• Team player with collaborative mindset

Responsabilités

• Drive patients to and from medical appointments and between facilities
• Assist with lifting, securing and helping patients in and out of the Ambulance
• Transfer patients to staff on arrival at treatment centres or at home
• Keep ambulance safe, clean and tidy
• Provide end-of-life transportation support where appropriate
