EMED Group is recruiting Ambulance Care Assistants for a full-time role in Redditch. You will transport service users to appointments and between facilities, in two-person crews or solo, requiring a full UK driving licence and good physical fitness.

The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off rota with 11.5 hour shifts, and includes a range of benefits and support services through EMED Group's network.

Formación

• Committed to patient care.
• Effective communication with patients and families in emotional situations.
• Calm, careful driver with up to six penalty points on license.
• Strong team-working and collaboration.
• Physically fit for patient handling and moving.
• Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded).
• Be able to work flexible shifts.
• Familiar with the local and surrounding area.

Responsabilidades

• Transporting elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.
• Assist in transferring patients in and out of ambulances.
• Build rapport with patients and relatives through clear communication.
• Ensure ambulance is kept safe, clean and tidy.
• Assist with handing over patients to hospital staff or family.
