Job summary

Finstall First School is seeking a compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA2) to join our staff on a fixed-term EHCP-funded 1:1 support post, mainly in KS1. The role is term-time only, 20 hours per week with 5 afternoons.

You will work closely with the pupil, parents and school staff to deliver focused teaching support and promote independence, with flexible arrangements discussed to meet needs.

Qualifications

• Compassionate approach to working with children.
• Ability to communicate clearly with parents and staff.
• Willingness to adapt with flexible patterns and times.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality 1:1 classroom support to a pupil and staff.
• Support targeted pupil to overcome barriers to learning.
