Job summary

Local Services 2 You at Chestnut Centre, Huddersfield is seeking a confident Community Wellbeing and Family Support Coordinator to deliver two core projects, coordinate day-to-day activity and support families to access practical help in their communities.

You will engage volunteers, liaise with employers and partners, plan activities and maintain records to demonstrate impact for funders and stakeholders. A DBS check is required and some evenings/weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organisation, communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience with coordinating projects, community activity or partnerships.
• Good IT, record keeping and reporting skills.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion, safeguarding and reducing barriers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of Healthy Working Lives and Families Together activity.
• Support and coordinate volunteers, champions and participants.
• Build relationships with employers, families and local partners.
• Organise community events, meetings and engagement activity.
• Help families access advice, support and progression opportunities.
• Maintain accurate project records and monitor information.
