Job summary

National Trust's Quarry Bank site in Wilmslow is seeking a Community, Participation & Volunteering Manager to deepen relationships with local communities and broaden participation. The role is 15 hours per week on a fixed-term contract (up to 12 months) with flexible patterns and some home-working potential.

Salary is £34,000 per annum pro rata to 15 hours (approximately £13,600 annually). You'll lead community participation work, support the Volunteer Experience Co-ordinator, and help shape

Qualifications

• Understanding of best practice in community engagement and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of volunteer engagement and participation approaches.
• Experience in partnership working and managing stakeholders through change.
• Strategic thinking using data and insights to engage audiences.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with leadership peers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead our community participation work and support the Volunteer Experience Co-ordinator to create positive volunteering experiences.
• Influence the Property Leadership team to prioritise community, volunteering and wider participation using audience insight to shape a clear plan.
• Manage existing partnerships and community relationships while seeking new opportunities.
