Job summary

Seetec Communities in Taunton, Yeovil & Bridgwater is seeking a compassionate Community Support Worker to guide participants from assessment through reintegration. You will deliver one-on-one and group interventions to empower individuals and reduce reoffending, in a supportive, inclusive setting.

The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, and a salary between £25,877 and £29,000, with benefits such as annual leave, pension and healthcare. Training and DBS checks are included.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a caseload of participants (desirable).
• Knowledge of inputting and retrieving electronic data in a timely manner (desirable).
• Excellent verbal, non‑verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and sustain engagement with individuals.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual performance targets and contribute to team targets.
• Collaborate with mentors to manage caseload and connect participants with housing and health resources.
• Support learning environment and share best practices.
• Ensure safeguarding of adults and children and coordinate risk with Probation Service.
