Job summary

Amplius is seeking a Community Support Worker in Peterborough to provide person-centred housing-related support, helping customers live independently with dignity and manage tenancies, rent, utilities and repairs.

You will develop and review support plans, carry out risk assessments, build positive relationships, coordinate with partner agencies and keep accurate records to monitor progress while promoting safeguarding and wellbeing.

Qualifications

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) and good IT skills.
Experience providing person-centred support in housing, homelessness or similar settings.
Understanding safeguarding, wellbeing and challenges faced by people with different support needs.
Strong communication and listening skills; ability to build positive, non-judgemental relationships.
Good organisation and administration skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

The Vacancy

Join Amplius as a Community Support Worker and help provide vital housing support to our customers in supported accommodation. You'll help people live independently with dignity, promoting wellbeing and respecting their individual needs through personalised support plans and established policies.

Salary: £28,040.46 per year

Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Sunday, between 8am and 10pm on a rolling rota

Snapshot of your role

What we're looking for
