Job summary

Style Acre is seeking a Community Support Worker to join our Outreach team in the Didcot area, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fuller, more independent lives. You will accompany clients to activities, appointments and events, with some home-based support as needed.

We offer sociable hours from 9am–6pm, Monday–Friday, with some weekend work. A full UK driving license and access to a car are essential, and mileage is paid.

Qualifications

• Experienced Support Worker.
• Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities and autism to increase independence and community engagement.
• Help with activities outside the home, such as gym, cycling, shopping and appointments.
• Provide support in homes when needed, and accompany people on outings.
• Promote safe, meaningful activities to improve quality of life.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity to join our Outreach team in Didcotand the surrounding area.

We are looking for a committed, caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. We support people to increase their independence and engagement in their community by offering support to go to the gym, cycling, shopping, supporting people to appointments, trips out and support for people in voluntary and paid work. We provide some support in people homes, but the majority of the time is spent out and about doing some great things. We want people to live full and meaningful lives and your support can help make this happen.

We offer sociable and flexible working hours – weekdays between 9-6pm.Part-time position, working hours 9am to 6pm (flexible), Monday to Friday, with some weekends.
