Job summary

The Camden Society in Abingdon is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with a learning disability with daily living, personal and emotional support. The role offers a permanent contract with full-time or part-time hours and a regular monthly salary.

You may work in clients' homes or out in the community, helping to develop skills, plan and manage living arrangements, and participate in leisure, employment and travel activities. Training is provided.

  • No previous experience or qualifications required, full training will be provided

Responsibilities

  • Support adults with a learning disability in daily living activities
  • Provide personal and emotional support and assist with home planning
  • Help with leisure, employment, individual interests and travel
  • Work in clients' own homes or in the community as needed

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (OX14 area)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time and Part Time

Salary: £13.20 per hour

This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.

You maybe be supporting people in their own home or out and about in their community.
