Cammach Bryant Ltd is seeking a Part-Time Community Liaison Officer for a renewable project site in Devon. The contract runs until 30 November 2027, with ongoing opportunities.

The CLO will manage relations with local stakeholders, enable engagement and support sustainable development while protecting the environment and local communities. Key duties include stakeholder mapping, information sharing, facilitating community meetings, handling grievances, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field of Community Relations.
• High level of interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Empathetic towards sensitive cultural and community issues.
• Mediation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to dialog and negotiate.
• Understanding of local economic, political and social dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support for management of relations with local community stakeholders near project sites.
• Act as the main point of contact to enable community engagement and support our community relations strategy.
• Map and understand community needs, concerns and influence levels for project decision-making.
• Share information about the project in an effective, timely manner and via appropriate channels.
• Support community meetings: prepare information, arrange venues, collect feedback forms.
• Record and report grievances and assist with their resolution.
• Report activities and day-to-day community status to the line manager and track KPIs.
