Job summary

Caval in Cleethorpes is seeking a friendly Public Liaison Officer to act as the main link between the project and the local community. The role involves informing residents and businesses about works and handling concerns with professionalism.

The position is a long-term temporary, roughly 15 hours per week, with a Monday-Wednesday pattern and some flexibility. A company laptop and mobile phone are provided, and an immediate start is available.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident engaging with the public and local businesses.
• Strong customer service skills with calm complaint handling.
• Well organised and able to work independently.
• Public-facing/community engagement experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with local stakeholders, including residents, shopkeepers and business owners.
• Inform the local community about upcoming works and project updates.
• Deliver leaflets and information to local properties and businesses.
• Respond to enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Build positive relationships within the community.
• Provide feedback from stakeholders to the project team.
