Job summary

Cardo Group is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer on a 6 Month FTC to coordinate planned works, repairs and regeneration projects across Kent, Surrey and East Sussex. You will be the resident-facing link between households, contractors and housing officers, ensuring information is accurate, timely and supportive.

You will manage meetings, home visits and communications to minimise disruption while maintaining positive relationships with residents and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience working in customer service, housing, or community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage conflict and handle difficult conversations with diplomacy.
• Organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact between residents, contractors, and housing organisations.
• Provide clear information about scope, timelines and impact of works.
• Arrange and attend resident meetings, drop-in sessions and home visits.
• Support vulnerable residents to cope with disruption.
• Maintain resident contact details and communication logs.
• Monitor works on-site to ensure standards and respectful conduct.
