Job summary

City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a Reablement Support Worker to join the Reablement Community HARP team. The role offers a permanent part-time position at 25 hours per week with a pro-rata salary of £31,015–£34,811.

Based at Bradley Reablement Centre, you will work in the community across the city, helping individuals to regain independence while ensuring safe and compassionate care in a regulated service. DBS check will apply; interviews scheduled for 05 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Maths and English (Level 2) required.
• Relevant Social Care qualification (Diploma in Social Care Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• Evidence of continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Share commitment to provide choice, opportunity, involvement and control to all individuals.
• Identify and create opportunities for individuals to meet their goals and outcomes.
• Enable and promote independence for individuals.
• Provide safe and compassionate care and support within a regulated service.
• Experience of working with adults in a community-based service.
