Job summary

Walsall Council's Intermediate Care Services is seeking a Reablement Officer to join our friendly team in the West Midlands. This part-time role (30 hours per week) focuses on enabling customers to develop or regain daily living skills in their own homes.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to maximise independence and access to community resources, with NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult social care and reablement settings.
• Experience of working with customers in their own homes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• NVQ L2 Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in their own homes to develop/regain skills.
• Coordinate and deliver active reablement plans.
