Job summary

The Felix Project is seeking a Community Coordinator to grow and sustain the FareShare Go programme by strengthening charity and retailer relationships and raising awareness locally in Manchester. You will welcome new charities, maintain coverage KPIs, and support capacity building to increase food redistribution.

You will engage with FareShare network partners, perform face-to-face interventions, and help organise community events.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Food Safety training desirable; training provided.
• Experience with constituent relationship management (CRM) software; Salesforce advantageous.
• Some experience in data analysis and project planning is advantageous.
• Be degree educated or have a strong career history doing similar roles in any sector.
• Have some experience of training and managing others.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Welcome Visits to new charities and ensure coverage KPIs are met.
• Build charity capacity to increase food redistribution.
• Identify stores for re-engagement to improve charity coverage and compliance.
• Undertake annual food safety checks within the agreed timeframe.
• Maintain regular contact with retailers and manage stakeholder relationships across the region.
• Lead community events and network activities with the regional team.
