Zusammenfassung

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Health Care Support Worker to join the Specialist Community Paediatric Team in West Dunbartonshire. The role involves home visits, clinics and school-based services, supporting families and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver safe, person-centred care.

The post is permanent, 36 hours per week (4 days 9am-5pm, 1 day 9am-3.30pm), based at Acorn Centre, Vale of Leven Hospital.

Qualifikationen

SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience.
Ability to work effectively with children, young people and families.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computing and IT skills.
Current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Aufgaben

Support the Community Children’s Nursing Service in delivering a safe, person-centred service to children and families.
Assist with a range of community paediatric nursing pathways and clinics.
Promote health and wellbeing and signpost to appropriate services.
Maintain accurate records and report patient information to the nursing team.
