NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Health Care Support Worker to assist the Specialist Community Paediatric Team in delivering person-centred care to children, young people and families across West Dunbartonshire. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting home visits, clinics and school sessions to enable safe, accessible community nursing.

The role requires SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent, ability to work with families, and good communication.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work effectively with children, young people and families.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computing and IT skills.
• Current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsabilités

• Support Community Children's Nursing Service across the community.
• Assist in clinics and home visits, including school-based settings.
• Promote health and wellbeing and accurately report patient information.
• Signpost families to appropriate services per care plans.
• Possibly carry out delegated clinical tasks including venepuncture.
