Job description

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse who holds a specialist practitioner qualification (SPQ) in District Nursing to join the community nursing team in the South Locality.

You will be based in Kinross/Bridge of Earn/Errol, with a willingness to travel across the locality when required to meet service needs.

The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to lead the team in delivering safe, effective, patient-centred care to every patient between 8.30 am and 10 pm over 7 days.

You will support the implementation of change and improvement within your team and support the locality team in delivering PKHSCP and NHS Tayside’s vision and values.

Due to Health and Social Care integration, a commitment to multidisciplinary working and the ability to adapt and manage change within the service are essential.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register and hold a Specialist Practice Qualification in District Nursing.
