Job summary

ScotCen invites you to join as a Field Interviewer across Scotland. You will visit households, conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life, listening with warmth and respect to capture genuine experiences.

The role offers flexible hours (at least 20 per week across 3 days), with evening and weekend availability, travel across the patch, training provided, and a pay structure of £20–£30 per completed interview plus holiday pay, travel time, mileage reimbursement, and

• Strong verbal and written English
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to travel and manage own schedule

Responsibilities

• Visit households to conduct in-home research interviews
• Capture stories on health, housing, transport and daily life
• Accurately record responses using a NatCen device
• Plan routes, travel across assigned area, and train new interviewers
