Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing provider in Plymouth to appoint a Housing Officer who will manage a portfolio of tenancies and help deliver a high-quality housing management service.

You will support residents, conduct tenancy visits, address anti-social behaviour, and work with local authorities to sustain tenancies and promote safe, thriving neighbourhoods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housing management, tenancy management, customer service, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management practices is desirable.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
• Good IT and administrative skills.
• Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour cases would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patch of residential properties and act as the main point of contact for residents.
• Conduct tenancy visits, estate inspections, and neighbourhood walkabouts.
• Support new tenancy sign-ups and tenancy sustainment activities.
• Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour cases.
• Manage tenancy breaches and enforce tenancy conditions where required.
• Work with residents to resolve issues relating to rent, property management, and community wellbeing.
• Liaise with internal teams, local authorities, and support agencies.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate records and case notes using housing management systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents.
