Job summary

Hundred Houses Society is seeking a Housing Officer to manage a patch of properties, delivering a responsive, resident-focused service and maximising tenancy sustainability. You will work with customers, colleagues and partners to resolve issues early and maintain thriving communities.

The role covers tenancy and estate management, rent and service charge income, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, with a strong emphasis on customer wellbeing and flexible problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-facing housing management services.
• Ability to manage tenancy and estate issues and support vulnerable customers.
• Awareness of safeguarding and anti-social behaviour issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenancy and neighbourhood issues and tenancy responsibilities.
• Proactively manage rent and service charge accounts and debt advice.
• Respond to anti-social behaviour with appropriate action.
• Monitor estate standards, safety compliance and grounds maintenance.
• Collaborate with authorities, partners and stakeholders to address issues.
• Support allocations, empty homes and delivery of new homes.
• Assist with access for mandatory safety checks and legal action where needed.
• Maintain records, meet targets and aid service improvements.
• Handle customer feedback with focus on first contact resolution.
