Job summary

Vivify Venues is seeking a Community Host to welcome school hirers and groups, open and set up facilities, and ensure a high quality visitor experience on-site in Tees Valley.

You will assist with event setup, perform light cleaning, and maintain security and safety across shifts. Training covers safeguarding, manual handling, fire safety and customer service; additional tasks to support schools and the Vivify team may occur.

Responsibilities

• Welcome hirers and groups into the schools' facilities and ensure all facilities are opened and set up on time for each group to enjoy their visits.
• Assist hirers with setting up facilities for lettings and school events, from setting up a badminton net to switching on floodlights.
• Undertake light cleaning duties to ensure the schools and premises are left as found, including tidying chairs and storing equipment.
• Ensure security and safety by unlocking and then securely locking gates and doors at the end of the shift.
• Carry out health and safety checks during the shift and report hazards or faulty equipment through the company platform.
• Full training is provided, covering safeguarding, manual handling, fire safety and customer service; expected to represent Vivify professionally.
• Vivify hosts may be involved in other activities to support schools, hirers and the team.
