Job summary

Vivify Venues is seeking a Community Host to ensure safe, welcoming experiences for hirers across school facilities. You will welcome users, set up spaces, perform safety checks and report issues through our platform. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Shifts vary, offering a dynamic role with opportunities to interact with schools and community groups while delivering excellent service and helping to keep facilities ready for the next day’s activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Friendly, approachable with a customer-focused mindset.
• Confident communication with schools, hirers and community groups.
• Organised, proactive and quick to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome hirers and help them access facilities
• Open and close school sites securely
• Set up equipment and facilities for activities and events
• Carry out basic health and safety checks
• Report any issues using our online platform
• Complete light cleaning and tidying duties to ensure facilities are ready for the next school day
• Provide outstanding customer service and support throughout each shift
