Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a friendly Community Gateway Clerical Officer to join Crickets Lane Clinic in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will be the first point of contact for public and agency enquiries about District Nursing queries, handling calls, emails, and referrals.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00–18:00 with one Saturday in six 09:00–17:00, and a comprehensive benefits package including NHS Pension and flexible working.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Gateway Service. The Community Gateway Service are the first point of contact for members of the public and agencies making initial contact with the District Nursing Service.
They are the first point of contact for members of the public and agencies with District Nursing health queries. They facilitate a contact assessment service for this first point of contact, in an approachable and responsive manner. They provide simple information and advice to members of the public and other agencies to help resolve queries. They receive queries over the telephone, referral system or email and ensure that any necessary information is completed on EMIS in a timely manner to allow a referral to be made.
The contracted hours for this post are 37.5 hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. Cover is also required one Saturday in six between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00.
