Community Forensic Mental Health Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forensic Community team Practitioner to be involved in the operational running and development of the North Wales Forensic Psychiatric Service.

The post holder will act as a specialist resource in providing care coordination and supervision for mentally disordered offenders from the BCUHB area within the field of community mental health and act as a link between inpatient forensic service and the community.

Main duties of the job

The management of community and inpatient caseloads both locally and nationally for mentally disordered offenders who have complex; psychological, social, health and forensic backgrounds. Acting as a specialist practitioner and information resource to generic mental health services and related disciplines at primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
