Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to serve communities across the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels, often on foot, while providing excellent service in all weather.

The role combines driving with walking, handling election materials and other items per Royal Mail standards. Shifts vary and driving assessment is required to start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Drive your delivery area and deliver letters and parcels to the community.
• Deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items per standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail, providing exceptional service in all weather.
