Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, in all weather conditions, and you’ll be expected to pass a driving assessment at start.

Shifts vary and offer competitive pay, with rates that reflect different times of day, and a role that emphasizes community service and active, outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to the community, driving a Royal Mail van while completing parts of your route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide exceptional service in all weather and maintain a punctual, safe delivery routine.
