Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels with a focus on reliable, friendly service.

Typical duties include driving a Royal Mail van across your route, occasional on-foot delivery, and handling items safely. Roles require walking substantial distances and a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and handle a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community daily, come rain or shine.
• Drive round your delivery area, sometimes delivering parts on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials as required.
