Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join the team. You will be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels in all weather, with a mix of driving and walking on your route.

Responsibilities include safely delivering items, sometimes handling election materials, and passing a driving assessment at the start. The role offers varied shifts and the chance to make a real local impact.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary, so adaptability is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of Royal Mail round.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Ensure items are delivered safely and in line with company standards.
