NatCen, the UK’s largest independent social research organisation, is hiring a Field Interviewer in Oldham for part-time work. You’ll visit people in their homes to conduct interviews on health, housing and transport using a tablet or laptop.

This role is field-based, requires a driving licence, a car, DBS check, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. English must be strong, with good written and spoken communication. Training provided and pay per interview with mileage benefits.

Formación

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Reliable home broadband.
• Laptop or tablet with camera.
• At least 18 hours available per week.
• Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Visit people in their homes to conduct vital interviews on health, housing and transport.
• Guide conversations using a tablet or laptop to capture real experiences.
• Be out in the community, knocking on doors as part of fieldwork.
• Ensure interviews are conducted ethically and documented accurately.
