Job summary

National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) is recruiting a Field Interviewer in Bolton to visit households and conduct interviews on health, housing and transport. You will use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations, collect real experiences and help inform public understanding.

This part-time role involves door-knocking, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and requires reliable transport, a valid UK driving licence, and strong English communication. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their homes to carry out vital research interviews.
• Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and record responses.
• Be out in the community, knocking on doors and collecting data.
