NatCen, the UK’s leading independent social research organisation, is hiring a Field Interviewer for Stevenage. This part-time role involves visiting homes, guiding conversations on health, housing and transport, and collecting data using a tablet or laptop.

You’ll be out in the community, flexible across weekdays, evenings and weekends. Essential requirements include a valid UK driving licence, access to a car, DBS clearance willingness, and strong spoken and written English.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their homes to carry out vital research interviews on health, housing and transport.
• Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and capture experiences of daily life in Britain.
• Knock on doors and work out in the community to secure interviews.
