Job summary

Serco Group Plc is seeking a Carpenter to maintain facilities that support sport, wellbeing and community activity at More Leisure Community Trust. You will perform reactive repairs, planned maintenance and carpentry work to keep buildings safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Recognised carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent.
• City and Guilds/BTEC or equivalent carpentry qualifications.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or construction.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of building services and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across site.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake carpentry works using tools and equipment.
• Perform fire door inspections and maintenance.
• Support health and safety initiatives.
• Communicate maintenance issues to supervisors and managers.
