Job summary

Prima Group in Liverpool is seeking a Community Engagement Officer to identify barriers to engagement, empower communities and develop flexible engagement structures that reflect diverse needs.

You will work with the Housing Team on the Prima Community Plans, deliver events across neighbourhoods, build partnerships and report on progress. A GCSE or equivalent is required; a driving licence is essential. We value proactive, resilient, self-motivated individuals who can drive social value.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• A relevant professional qualification or recognised degree is desirable.
• Full driving licence and use of a car for work is essential.
• Positive attitude to customers.

• Does what it takes to get the right outcome.

Responsibilities

• Identify barriers to engagement and contribute to developing a flexible engagement structure.
• Empower communities to create a voice that represents their needs.
• Make recommendations for improvement based on customer insights.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to promote transparency through Community Engagement to support Prima’s accountability to the customer.
• Build local effective partnerships to improve services, training and work opportunities for customers and identify development or service opportunities for Prima.
• Work with the Housing Team to develop and inform the Prima Community Plans, which respond to opportunities and challenges in our neighbourhoods.
• Deliver events across our communities and promote social value cross communities.
