Job summary

Prima Group, a leading North West housing association, seeks a Neighbourhood Cohesion Officer to engage communities, build partnerships, and deliver innovative community-led engagement solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and external partners to address needs and create opportunities for customers across Prima stock.

The position offers flexible hybrid working between home and Prima offices, with a salary of £35,984 plus an essential car user allowance.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent
• A relevant professional qualification or recognised degree is desirable
• Full driving licence and use of a car for work is essential
• Positive attitude to customers
• Demonstrates drive and resilience

Responsibilities

• Initiate and encourage community cohesion by identifying engagement barriers and contribute to a flexible engagement structure.
• Empower communities to create a voice that can tackle their needs and represent their interests.
• Make recommendations for improvement based on customer insight.
• Work with internal colleagues to promote transparency through Community Engagement and Prima’s accountability.
• Build partnerships to improve services, training and work opportunities for customers.
