Job summary

The Lodge care home, part of Elizabeth Finn Homes, seeks a Community Engagement and Marketing Partner to strengthen links with the local community and increase admissions. The role covers Exeter area with regular travel and a 21-hour work week on a fixed-term basis.

Join a supportive team, work with the home manager and marketing team to drive occupancy, manage enquiries, and build partnerships with hospitals, GP practices, and local organisations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the home manager and marketing team to implement occupancy strategies.
• Manage enquiries from prospective families and referrals with follow-up to convert to show rounds and admissions.
• Identify and engage with referral sources such as hospitals, hospices, and rehabilitation centres.
• Organise networking events and information sessions for local healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate tours of the home and arrange trial stays to showcase life at the home.
• Build links with community groups, schools, and volunteers to enhance resident activities.
• Develop resources for local teams to manage and drive enquiries.
• Establish relationships with health & social care professionals and GP practices.
• Promote events, open days, and community engagement initiatives.
• Open communication with families before admission and after respite stays.
• Work with activities teams to bring external activities into the homes.
