Job summary

NHS Scotland invites applications for a Community Staff Nurse with Girvan Community Hospital in our District Nursing Team. This permanent post is 36.0 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00 with occasional weekend commitment.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for diverse community clients, supervising staff in the absence of the Charge Nurse. A UK Driving Licence is essential and you must be registered with the NMC.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for community clients.
• Manage caseload in absence of Charge Nurse; supervise and deploy staff.
• Demonstrate initiative and strong interpersonal skills in diverse settings.
