NHS Ayrshire & Arran invites applications for a Community Staff Nurse based at Girvan Community Hospital. This permanent role is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend working as required. A UK driving licence is essential to cover community settings across the area.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for diverse community groups, work autonomously when needed, and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on compassionate, safe and respectful care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC Registration.
• Experience in community nursing and team working.
• Good listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work on own initiative as a lone worker.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in the community.
• Manage caseload in absence of the Charge Nurse; supervise staff.
• Communicate effectively; work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Pursue training and personal development opportunities as required.
