NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to join the District Nursing Service. You will assess, plan and deliver nursing care in patients' homes, supporting independence and health promotion.

Permanent role based in Renfrewshire HSCP with 32.5 hours per week, including late shifts, weekends and public holidays. Visa sponsorship may be considered for eligible applicants.

Competenze

• Part 1 NMC Registration, or 2nd Level Registration with General Nursing experience
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Evidence of NMC Revalidation
• Significant post-registration nursing experience
• Experience of working within a community or primary care environment
• IT skills, including word processing, email and internet use
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of NMC Code, professional standards and relevant legislation
• Ability to respond to emergency situations, including providing basic life support
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance and continuous service improvement
• Willingness to participate in mandatory training, clinical supervision and personal development planning

• Provide skilled nursing interventions and support patients and carers to achieve independence
