Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, walk parts of the route, and deliver letters and parcels in all weather, providing friendly service to the community.

Shifts vary with Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, and Night options; pay ranges from £16.24 to £19.00 per hour. A full UK driving licence with ≤6 points and the ability to walk up to 20,000 steps daily are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and handle a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts vary; team players who can adapt at short notice are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your assigned route, indoors and outdoors.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and cover parts of your round on foot as needed.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers in the community.
