Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of the service, delivering letters and parcels across your delivery area, on foot and by van, in all weather.

A driving licence is required, shifts vary, and you'll pass a driving assessment on start. Pay rates are published per shift, with Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Late and Night options to suit different schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of the van, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be a team player and adaptable at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, on foot and in a van.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and select items per Royal Mail standards.
• Represent Royal Mail with pride, providing exceptional service in all weather conditions.
