Job summary

Company Shop Group in Grimsby invites applications for a Community Chef Educator to lead our Community Kitchen initiatives. You will produce freshly cooked, nutritious meals and deliver engaging community programmes that respond to local needs.

Working with internal and external partners you will demonstrate leadership, train and motivate staff, manage resources and uphold health, safety & environmental policies while driving social impact across the site at Wootton Rd, Nunsthorpe.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary background required.
• NVQ level 2 in Catering (or similar qualifications) requested.
• Food hygiene level 2 or above required.
• Knowledge of HACCP is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Community Kitchen’s culinary development programmes.
• Drive social impact and engage local communities through activities.
• Train and develop team; support cross-functional collaboration across departments.
• Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental policies at all times.
• Build partnerships with external organisations to maximise social benefits to local people and members.
• Ensure effective management of resources and kitchen operations.
