Job summary

NWCare Northern Ireland is recruiting Home Care Assistants/Community Care Workers in Newtownabbey. We offer morning, afternoon and evening rotas with full or part-time options, plus extensive training and development opportunities within Northern Ireland.

Applicants should be prepared to obtain an Enhanced AccessNI certificate; driving licence is advantageous as a motor vehicle is often required for client visits. Training academies and CPD certificates are provided.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; bespoke training provided.
• Enhanced AccessNI certificate required before start.
• Experience in care not mandatory; training will be supplied.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑home care and community support to clients in Newtownabbey.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote dignity, respect and person‑centred care in all interactions.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate any changes to supervisors.

We are currently recruiting Home Care Assistants/Community Care Workers in Newtownabbey. We have morning, afternoon and evening rotas available across the city. Full bespoke training will be provided for this role. This role can suit drivers and non-drivers.

We can offer both full time and part time flexible rotas.

Our mornings are 07:00 - 14:30, afternoons 15:00 - 18:30 and evening rotas are from 19:00 - 23:00

Any or all of these rotas may be worked. The evening rotas especially suit busy mums with no childcare through the day and students.

Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate

We can offer both full time and part time flexible rotas. We work off a 4/3 rota pattern, as follows: - Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We also have overnight rotas from 23:00 - 07:00

No qualifications or experience are necessary as full bespoke training will be provided
