Herts at Home is seeking a compassionate Community Care Worker for evening shifts in Letchworth. This part-time role runs 4pm–10pm, with pay of £15.53 per hour and 40p per mile. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. DBS, uniform and company phone are provided, along with enhanced holiday pay and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met.
• Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress -Medication Administration.

Location: Letchworth

Contract: Part-time -3-5 Evenings per week over seven days.

Working Hours: 4pm - 10pm

Pay Rate: £15.53 Per Hour & 40p Per Mile
