Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a Café Lead for The Courtyard Café in Horsforth (Leeds). The role involves leading a small team, managing stock and orders, and ensuring top hygiene and safety standards in a not-for-profit community café that serves adults with learning disabilities and autism.

You will also build community partnerships locally and prepare meals, with a minimum of one year’s relevant experience and required food hygiene qualifications.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience in a similar role or similar responsibilities.
• NVQ in Professional Cookery and Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Courtyard Café operations and manage a small team of café workers and placements.
• Oversee stock taking and food ordering; maintain a hygienic and safe kitchen.
• Develop and strengthen community links and partnerships within the local area.
